Long ago, alchemists challenged the impossible goal of turning a stone into gold. Though unable to achieve their original goal, their challenges lead to advancement in the science of chemistry, as they have discovered various new materials from a completely new perspective. Likewise, we hereby aim to conduct research on new alchemy in wearable robotics: to meet the seven seconds requirement during 100m sprinting, a completely new type of soft wearable robot is required. The proposed robotic suit will make a normal person, running in 17s per 100m, into an advanced human faster than Usain Bolt, running in 9.58s per 100m. We developed an artificial muscle driven by liquid gas, a highly lightweight soft wearable structure, and a whole-body wearable sensor detecting the user's intention. In this research, we hope our efforts can lead to numerous developments in soft wearable robots.
